Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, said: "It is important that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medications can be dangerous.

"These types of products being sold, typically online, have undergone no quality control and there can be no guarantee about their safety.

"You just do not know what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More importantly, you do not know the effect drugs like this might have on your health."
